Rock n' Roll Reporter; Vol. 3 Issue 33 - April, 1995

A.M. Prophecy hails from the State College area, but with this kind of material, they're bound to go national. I just can't believe the energy and feeling that comes from their music. You would never guess by looking at them that they play such a heavy style of music. Their sound could be categorized in a class with such bands as Alice In Chains or Soundgarden. Their sound and vocals are very melodic and structured. "Cross Section", "Undefined" and "Typical" are very strong tunes that I feel are the best on the release. The heaviest tune on the CD is "Manhorse". It comes across sounding a bit like a Quensryche tune, but it has its own A.M. Prophecy sound. If they're as aggressive live as they are in the studio, I'd hate to miss their live show!
